Gold is considered the safest investment and an ideal store of value, particularly during times of great economic uncertainty. This year, the customers of the Mint of Poland have purchased in total 1.7 tons of this precious metal. To respond to this unprecedented high demand for gold investment products, on 17th December the Mint of Poland launched the sale of its products in a new stationary point of sale in Warsaw.

The Mint of Poland’s new point of sale, the flagship store of HEFRA, the Polish silverware manufacturer, at ul. Mokotowska 43 in Warsaw, has a wide offer of the Company’s most popular gold bars and bullion coins produced both by the Mint of Poland and by its renowned foreign partners: from Germany (Heraeaus), Switzerland (Valcambi) and Belgium (Umicore). The launch of the new point of sale for the Mint of Poland’s well-trusted investment products is the answer to the continuously high interest of customers looking for a safe haven for their capital. From the beginning of the year till mid-December, the Mint of Poland sold a total of 1.7 tons of gold, compared to 900 kg at the end of June.

The guaranteed safety, reliability and highest quality of all its products are the hallmarks of the Mint of Poland, the only domestic producer of gold bars and the largest distributor of investment gold in Poland. In the Mint of Poland’s offer, available in the HEFRA flagship store, customers will find such products as:

  • gold bars – 1 g, 2 g, 5 g, 10 g, 20 g, 31.1 g (1oz), 50 g, 100 g, 250 g, 500 g, and 1000 g,
  • gold bullion coins: 1/25 oz, 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 oz (including the famous coins: The Maple Leaf, Krugerrand, The Vienna Philharmonic, American Eagle, Australian Kangaroo and Britannia).

It is noteworthy that investment in gold can start from relatively low amounts of capital, e.g., with a one-gram gold bar. Subsequently, your investment portfolio can gradually grow either through regular own purchases or by adding a selected product to the wish list of presents for special occasions, such as Christmas, birthday, wedding or wedding anniversary. Gold products are also an original gift idea for the youngest investors, for example as a memento for a baptism or first holy communion.
