The Mint of Poland’s coin artists have designed another very special coin for collectors. The new coin is a masterpiece of numismatic art. It contains a capsule with a drop of the 1762 Gautier cognac, the oldest cognac in the world according to the “Guinness Book of Records”. The “Cognac Coin” is the third coin from the Mint’s “Spirit Coins” series. The initiator of series is the Lux Coin company.

Widely considered to be one of the world’s most modern and most technologically advanced mints, the Mint of Poland produces coins in all technologies used on the market. Our products are famous for superior quality craftsmanship and technological advancement. We often stay ahead of trends, e.g. we pioneered coin production in 3D technology.

The first two coins in the “Spirit Coins” collection contained a drop of 1862 Old Vatted Glenlivet whiskey and a drop of 1780 Harewood, the world’s oldest rum. The production of the “Cognac Coin” is limited to 300 pieces only. To mint each piece, two ounces of finest gold of 999.9 purity were used.
