Pre-sales have begun for an original silver coin created in collaboration with exceptional Polish painter and sculptor Wojciech Siudmak. “Energy,” inspired by one of the artist's most recognizable works, is a unique combination of attention to detail and new possibilities for artistic expression

As part of a single project, realized in an unconventional square form, Mennica Polska combined two outstanding works by Wojciech Siudmak – the painting “Energy” and the sculpture “Guardian of the Desert” – thus emphasizing the diverse nature of the artist's work. The coin symbolically captures the unbridled energy that drives the world, development, and the creative process.

–  When the idea of transferring the painting to a coin was born, I chose this one without hesitation. For me, energy is a symbol of life and the universe – it is the force that drives everything around us. For years, I have been thinking that humans and the universe are similar, as if created in each other's image. In this painting, I show this relationship, which symbolizes the harmony between humans and cosmic forces – said Wojciech Siudmak.

Translating a complex, philosophical message onto a coin requires not only artistic skill, but also excellent technological expertise. Mennica Polska used the most precise minting techniques to capture the details characteristic of Wojciech Siudmak's style – harmonious lines, collisions of forms, and subtle transitions of light and shadow. The result is a design that combines collectible value, craftsmanship, and depth of artistic vision.

–  We wanted to create a coin that would fit in with our idea of promoting contemporary culture and art, but at the same time convey a valuable message. Our collaboration with Wojciech Siudmak allowed us to fully achieve this goal, delighting the eye and encouraging reflection on the relationship between human beings and a force greater than themselves – sums up Katarzyna Budnicka Filipiuk, CEO and President at Mennica Polska.

The official premiere of the coin will take place on December 18 in Warsaw during a meeting with the artist.
