Medals produced at the Mint of Poland stand out with best quality and meticulous attention to detail. Our highly qualified artists create one-of-its-kind designs. We strike medals for public administration offices, local government organizations and other domestic institutions.
To place an order for the production of medals, please email your request at danuta_oniszk@mennica.com.pl. Then our employee will contact you. To prepare a quotation we need three basic pieces of information on the:
- shape and size of your medal,
- material and colour,
- mintage (the number of pieces).
After receiving the necessary information, we will prepare an individual offer. We will also support you in the implementation of the project, giving you guidelines, or contact you with the artist-medallist.

Our medalists
The sculptors at Mint of Poland create real masterpieces of monetary art
Urszula Walerzak
Urszula is an artist and medalist who designs coins, medals and badges. Since 1999, she has been working for the Mint of Poland. In addition to this, she cooperates with the National Bank of Poland, the Treasury of the Mint of Poland and with several foreign issuers. Urszula has graduated from the Warsaw School of Fine Arts; additionally, she has accomplished the Culture Management Studies at the Poznań University of Economics. Her designs win awards during the most prestigious international competitions.
Paweł Pietras
Paweł is an artist, medalist and designer of jewelry. He has graduated from the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. He holds a specialization in jewelry design accomplished in Sławomir Fijałkowski’s design studio. He presented his works at domestic and international exhibitions, e.g. in Munich. Since 2008, he has been cooperating with the Mint of Poland. His greatest accomplishment so far is an one-of-its-kind cylindrical coin “Fortuna Redux”.
