KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. is a renowned manufacturer of copper and silver that has been operating for over 50 years.
KGHM is a manufacturer of gold recovered from gold bearing sludge, found when copper mining.
In 1996 the company ordered from the Mint of Poland (then operating under the name Mennica Państwowa S.A.) a limited series of gold bars weighing 10 and 20 grammes. They were later made available to retail customers at an online auction.
The bars delivered in the CertiCard secure packaging have not only high market value, but also a great commemorative value. On the reverse of each bar, there is the logo of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. The obverse is decorated with the logo of Mennica Państwowa, bar weight, gold purity (999.9) and a bar serial number.
