In response to customer demand, Mennica Polska has launched a local gold buy-back service at four physical outlets. At the company’s flagship store in Katowice and at its investment product sales offices in Gdynia, Gdańsk and Szczecin, customers will be able to sell both gold bars and bullion coins.

The launch of the gold buyback service in four cities is Mennica Polska’s response to the growing demand identified among holders of gold investment products. The credibility and trust that Poland’s oldest mint has built up over nearly 260 years serve as an invitation to partnership for those interested in selling their gold.

The process begins by arranging an appointment via email, telephone, or in person at a branch in the chosen city. During the meeting, experienced advisers carry out verification and value the gold according to current market rates.

For items whose packaging remains unopened, the valuation is determined on the spot, based on the current gold price. The payment is transferred to the customer’s personal bank account within two working days of the sale agreement being concluded. For products without their original security seal or damaged packaging, separate quality verification is required.

The gold buyback service operated by Mennica Polska is currently available in eight cities: Warsaw, Poznań, Lublin, Rzeszów, Katowice, Gdynia, Gdańsk and Szczecin. There are plans to launch the service in further locations.
