The earliest mentions of West Highland White Terriers appeared in the 17th century. Westies feel comfortable in the city, the suburbs or in the country. The dogs of the breed are very playable and just love to be around people. Undoubtedly, their advantage is unparalleled intelligence and the ease of training them that obviously results from their intellect. Legend has it that the breed was initiated by Colonel Edward Malcolm, who in 1860 in Poltalloch accidentally shoot his dark-coated terrier. As he wished to distinguish his dog from wild game and prevent similar tragedy in the future, he decided to breed terriers with white coats only.

A pure silver coin embellished with an image of the favorite pet is an unforgettable gift for any occasion.
