A dog which behaved and looked similarly to the spaniel was first mentioned in a description of hunting that took place in Carthagina in the 4th century b.c. Cocker Spaniels are cheerful and friendly dogs of a gentle character. Thanks to their sociable nature, they love to spend time in companion of the ones they truly love. Faithful and optimistic Cocker Spaniels feel excellent in big families, as well as with other animals. Their distinguishing qualities are devotion to people and passion for hunting.
