The NBP Money Center in memory of Sławomir S. Skrzypek is located in the NPB headquarters in Warsaw. The patron of the institution Sławomir Stanisław Skrzypek was an engineer and an economist. He served the function of the president of the central bank of Poland until his death in the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash in Smoleńsk.

The visitors of the Center have an opportunity to discover the history of money, broaden their knowledge about the economy, learn the role of a central bank in a monetary system and get familiar with important economic processes. In an interesting way they can learn how to deposit and invest their money, what is currency and what role is attributed to the central bank of Poland. The center has at its disposal the newest multimedia equipment, interesting films, video games and animations.  In addition to this, the connoisseurs of numismatics will find here a vast collection of Polish coins. The NBP Money Center in memory of Sławomir S. Skrzypek is a modern compendium of knowledge about money, devoted to all people interested in economic issues.

Around the center – radiantly spreading rings bearing the inscriptions: STABILNOŚĆ, BEZPIECZEŃSTWO, WARTOŚĆ, PAŃSTWO, WIEDZA, KULTURA, PIENIĄDZ, BANK RYNEK, ROZWÓJ, HISTORIA, PRZYSZŁOŚĆ (stability, security, value, state, knowledge, culture, money, bank, market, development, history, future). Along the rim – issuing country: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (the Republic of Poland), year of issue: 2016. In the bottom part of the coin, right-hand, horizontally – face value: 10 ZŁ.
